Death had a funny way about her. She didn't exactly appear or disappear, it just took a little while for people to notice she was around. Before Jason had removed his hand from the edge of her plate, she was there across from him with a fork twirling between her fingers.
She eyed the food before she looked at Jason. Death didn't get hungry in this form, but since her last bout as a human, she'd found herself enjoying food and drink a little more than she used to. And it didn't help any that George had gotten her into the habit of meals.
After a moment, Death was able to take her eyes off the food. She smiled cheerfully in Jason's direction, tipping her top hat at him to thank him for ordering for her. "Are you, really?" A greeting wasn't really necessary with Jason. "I hadn't really heard anything about this getting married thing. When were you planning on telling me?" She joked. The only thing keeping her from diving into her food was a faint sense of manners, something else she'd picked up from being around human beings for a little longer than absolutely necessary.
