Cassidy laughed softly, "I'm sure Bill's got a place here in France for sale, if we wanted. He's usually got good taste for places." He tugged his hair out of the braid it had been in since before the wedding, and shook out his hair, before turning back to Soren, grinning a bit. He was looking not just at his best friend any longer. He was looking at his husband.
If the people who'd always teased them and called each other married could only see it, he was sure they'd all have a good laugh. He beamed, however. The very thought that Soren was really, well and truly his made Cassidy's heart swell. He sat down beside Soren and kissed his jaw. "All day I've felt like I'm about fifty pounds lighter. Like something heavy had been on me this whole time, and it lifted. It's great." He slid his shoes off and toed them under the bed, while he slipped his hand over Soren's.
