Cass laughed and only took two of the pancakes. The eggs didn't seem that appetizing right at the moment. "Sure, I mean, you're usually a klutz anyway. I won't expect you to be so good at it that you'll be able to keep up with me at any point in time, but I really can't say no to wanting to teach you. That'd be an outright lie. I promise, Soren, you'll be better than you think." He kissed Soren's temple before digging in. He ate quietly and quickly, simply taking in the surrounding area. The trees were younger and smaller than he ever remembered them being. Being in the past, and going to places he was used to always made him feel a bit odd. However, he enjoyed the relative newness, how everything just seemed to be right.
After finishing his food, Cassidy took his plate and fork, and set them aside. "Should probably get dressed." He looked down at his bare chest and smiled. "Sometimes the only thing I think I'd really miss about civilization is showers." He grinned and wandered back to the tent to get his shirt on.
