Ganieda had stopped at the store on the way home for a bottle of wine. They did not partake that often, but it was nice sometimes to have wine with dinner. She walked with a light step into the apartment building and waved at the doorman, heading into the elevator to go upstairs.

She touched the side of the door and it swung open for her. "I'm home," she called.

	Sam bounced out of the kitchen and smiled, then hugged her. "Hello, Ganieda!" He was wearing an apron, and warm, for he had been cooking today. She beamed as he came out to greet her. She snuggled in close to his warmth; it was cold and very windy outside.

"The usual," she said cheerfully. "I am slowly decreasing the incidence of hearts on the messages I take for my brother."

She kissed him back, warmly. "I smell dinner. It smells wonderful."

Ganieda loved having someone home to greet her when she arrived home. It was a very nice feeling.

	He hugged her close and stroked her hair and back. He laughed at her words. "Awww. Less hearts?" He kissed her again. "I'll have to work on that." Then he nodded. "Go on and change, love. She giggled a little. "Well, it isn't strictly professional to decorate phone messages with hearts."

She grinned at him, wrinkling her nose at him.

"I will be right out," she said, turning to go to their room. She changed out of her work clothes into soft, comfortable clothes and bedroom slippers, brushing her hair and pulling it back into a soft knot.

She headed back out, dimming lights as she went out; at home, she was greatly in favor of more dim, soft light. And it was much pleasanter to dine in candlelight. The only room she did not dim was, of course, the kitchen. She padded softly into the kitchen and put her arms around Sam from behind.

He laughed and nodded.

"Good..."

He watched her go, and whistled. She looked amazing. He headed back to the kitchen, working on finishing dinner. It was almost done when she padded in. He mmmed when he felt her arms. "Oh wow... I have missed being held by you, love, so much."

He wiggled against her.

"Ready for some good food?"

He slipped around and hugged her, kissing her too.
