"I don't suppose everyone's so happy with their lot in life, and given a chance to start anew in a strange place, might choose to be someone else. But then, I'm the wrong person to ask... I've not been myself since I was about 11."
She shrugged philosophically - it was something she'd dealt with almost a decade now. "But being yourself is a good choice, if you can. Your picture identification has an address on it, where you've a home, and that person has a job you can take, if you like... or you can find a new one if you're in need of a living. After that, I guess everything is what you make of it."
