"Really... I don't know about you, but I was always rather happy with a book or two, some hair ribbons, and an orange in the bottom of my stocking. Don't suppose I'll be getting even that this year, but it's quite all right. I spoke to Father Christmas, and I'm quite pleased with what he's promised."
She nodded toward a bench a bit closer to the river, which presumably in the summer held a little more appeal to most pedestrians. "That ought work." Stepping over it, they were quickly out of the way of the shopping masses, and she sat lightly on the bench, looking toward the river, and the Eye.
"I must admit, I've only been here a wee bit myself, really. I'm not sure I can answer much of anything for you."
