Sonya, frankly speaking, was miserable. What made it worse was that she knew it'd only get worse the closer she got to her due date. Her back was aching and so were her leg joints, the baby spent most of his time kicking the crap out of her insides, and on top of that her moods were in constant flux. It was costing a lot of energy to keep herself and her dignity together, and she didn't even have the energy she used to have.
Thank god for Tsung, he knew her well enough to leave her alone without being asked, and he knew just how to make her feel better. Sadly, he was away and she'd never tell him anyway or he'd never let her forget it.
She seemed to make the library her home, right after her own bedroom, and right now she's keeping herself distracted by finishing the book she's written for Henry ( maybe she'll make a copy for Jane Seymour). Surrounding the computer and covering the surface of the table are the remaining scrolls and books she's needed for her research.
The door to the library opens and Charles steps through. "Madame, there's a young lady named Ganieda who wishes to see you."
Sonya bit down a smile, thankful for some company that wouldn't send her over the edge. "Let her in, it's too cold to be waiting outside."
