"He needs to learn his place," Edward answered. His eyes fluttered. "He needs to be trained."
"Trained? Edward, I'm not a dog."
"No, and this is you?" Edward questioned raising a hand to gesture at Henry's outfit, the whip, everything. "It's a farce, Henry. What happens after you leave here? When you go home to Norah? You can't go back to what you were before, after this."
Edward caught the twitch, when he'd mentioned Norah. That was a nerve, with Henry. He could use that.
Henry shrugged. "Maybe this is who I am, really. Who would know, I've had to live in your shadow all my existence."
