Edward kept his hand up in striking position, but held the lead. He sensed Crowley react to the lack of blow, more than he felt it. It was an odd sensation, something that just sort of creeped up his spine.
Ignoring Crowley for the moment, he shifted his gaze past Kia to Kakia and Henry. The would have made a gorgeous group picture sitting there as they were, and Edward nearly smiled.
"You're not serious," he said to Kakia, eyes flickering at Henry. "He doesn't know what he's doing."
