Bill grinned and thought back to the time when this was a new recording. "Aye, blues was th'first music I really enjoyed, other'n th'shanties we used to sing durin' work. It's pure, an' real. You can't find music like that, anymore. All th'music comin' out these days isn't to share what you feel or share a story, it's to gain popularity and riches. No soul to it. Well, I shouldn't say all, there's quite a bit out there that does come from th'heart. But you can't find truly real music as good as this. Quality of th'recordin' aside."
He listened for another minute, letting the memory of listening to an old-fashioned dial-tune radio during the 1920s roll through his mind. "Music's always been a bit of a puzzle to me. It's been around me for my entire existence, but I never truly learned about it."
