He moved with her urges, dropping to his knees beside her. He lifted a garland out of the box, old and mangled, half the trimming gone. He tossed it to the trash pile.
"We decorate the church to be festive, during the holiday season," he said, looking to her, with his hands stilled at the top of the box. He wet on to give a brief run down of the history of the decorations and the meaning behind it all, everything leading back to the baby Jesus, rather than the over commercialisation of Christmas in more recent years.
