"Antigone? Huh. Only Antigone I knew is long, long ago deceased. I suppose I'll have to meet her. The christian god I knew was male, so maybe she's from a different place? It's all rather interesting."
She held her cup in both hands as she listened, sipping occasionally though mostly using the cup for warmth... not that she was cold. She just liked the way it felt.
"Wow. You sound like you roll with it all pretty well. And sounds pretty complicated. If you thought about it too much it could cause a headache. I don't think I could babysit myself very well. I was terrible, not that I was a child for long. Do you always invite strangers to coffee?"
It was useless to get upset about it all, she figured. She'd think about the fact that the one she loved wasn't here later. Or notthnking about it might be the best bet. pragmatism seemed the only way to go.
