Who: Doug Ramsey and Lisa Cuddy What: Talking, commiserating When: Saturday evening Where: A restaurant and bar called the Portkey Warnings: TBD
He wanted to be a friend, and he just hoped he would not come off as stupid. He'd never been good at this whole interaction thing, so this was sort of new to him. Lisa Cuddy had sounded like she really understood some of how he felt, and like she had managed to have some of the worst luck he had ever heard about. She deserved better, and if he could help, he would try.
He found a table, and settled, ordering waters to start, and a menu to go with. The table was a little secluded, as he doubted Lisa would want to be surrounded by people and talking. He knew he never really felt like it. The people working here were nice, and they seemed to know how to mind their own business.
