Though she knew he'd been avoiding her, for a lot of different reasons probably, she'd let him have his distance. She was hoping that he'd give in and come to her instead of the other way around, figuring it was good for his mental health or something.
After all, she didn't exactly blame him running away. Henry was much easier to understand as a person than Edward was. When she heard him enter the house, she called back that she was in the office and waited patiently behind the desk.
