He'd been avoiding her. He had no idea if Edward had kept his distance or not. Probably not. Edward wasn't a coward. Henry didn't think he was either, after everything he'd been through with Edward. But he had been keeping his distance, avoiding her after waking up in the middle of Edward's fun.
He wasn't sure why he felt he needed to talk to her now, when he'd decided not to talk to her at all. But he'd taken the first step and contacted her. He needed to see it through.
Now he just had to get through the front door of their shared home. The universe, whatever it was, had decided to force them to live together. Henry took a deep breath, steeling himself, and went inside.
"Dr Skinner?" He knew she was likely in the office, and he didn't expect a response. He made his way to the door, feeling like a nervous school boy.
