Esk caught Rose's expression and grinned. "Yeah, it was obnoxious," she said. "Most of them had moved out by the time I was growing up, but I still had to turn one of them into a pig once or twice." She'd never really had an opportunity to socialize much with girls her age. She didn't have any sisters or neighbor kids, and then her school was all-boys.
"Were you born with them?" She asked. She didn't know much about mutants. She'd learned a little bit talking with her new friends, but it was a foreign concept to her. It was neat learning about it.
