Wanting to protest, it instead died on her lips. She just wanted him to rest and not be up walking around. "Denny.. you should.." but she didn't finish. She let him close the blinds, moving with him so that if he needed her, she was there. "It is my fault, it's my fault and that poor guy and I.. I did everything I could but it wasn't good enough. It's not your fault, it's mine, I'm the doctor."
Sometimes she didn't know if he had haunted her because of her own guilt or just because she missed him so much. Feeling his hand on her cheek, she shut her eyes for a moment, wondering if he was going to disappear. But he was there again when she opened them. "This time I'll do better.." she just didn't know how quite yet. She moved forward, closer and put her hand down gently on his chest. "I missed you so much."
