All she wanted to do was curl up in the bed with him right there and then and not let go for anything. But she couldn't, not yet until she had made sure he was okay. "I'm sorry you're.. sick again. That's just.. cruel." It was, she couldn't deny it, even though she was glad to have him back. More than glad. All of her had wished to see him one more time, and what if this was that one last time?
Her shoulders shrugged, "The lady who owns the hospital doesn't think I'm crazy or.. us. I told her. I mean I told her sort of.." she was rambling but she couldn't help it. "She came here through the vortex and has been here for a while. I got you a bed. Then we can figure things out."
People might have been staring, and she felt like asking a nurse if she could see him too. The EMTs had seen him, so maybe she wasn't crazy. "I feel crazy and.. a little freaked out but I'll be okay." She was most definitely putting on a brave face. When they got him down to a room, she moved him in and put him there.
