Thinking on the questions, he sighed, pulling the vial out after a minute to give him an excuse for the silence. He wasn't often a public figure, despite his previous status as diplomat. Still, there was no way the boy would be able to help him, if he didn't offer full disclosure.
He opened the vial, eyes fluttering at the subtle scent of blood that wafted from the now-warm glass. He shot the contents, swallowing with an unnecessary sigh, before going back to his coffee, empty container stashed safely in his coat.
"I do not have nightmares. I do not have dreams, either, so no, nothing such as prophecy. Then again, this place is... unique. Different than my home world. I assumed it had something to do this place." At the mention of Malakai knowing the man, he shook his head. "I do not believe it was someone I knew. I... cared to rescue the man, and there is only one I would worry so, about. I would know if it was him."
