Libby listened, her brows furrowed. She understood too well what he meant. When she and Gojyo--Not this Gojyo, she reminded herself--met, they had both been dating other people. They'd spent time together, like this, talking and listening and became good friends. The kind you always go to when you need something. The kind that starts to mean everything to you before you even realize it. Neither of them had actually done anything to physically cheat on their significant others, but.. It had been wrong. They'd had feelings for each other and as soon as the vortex brought them here, they'd been together.
And she knew, too, Gojyo's draw toward Hakkai. She knew that well.
"That's good," she said gently, reaching out to touch Gojyo's hand comfortingly. "It's good that you realize it, Gojyo. I don't know if you're right when you say other people would do a better job; other people might insist that they hadn't done anything wrong. When you're aware of it, it gives you power over the situation. I know it's hard. It doesn't feel like a lot of control right now. But if you want this thing with Henry to work, you can make it work. It is work. Relationships aren't as easy as they look on TV."
