Now they're lobbyin' congress to get equal rights. How are dead people s'posed to have rights, anyway? They dead." She shook her head and rubbed her forehead with a wry smile. "I mean, it ain't the same as the equal rights movement in the fifties. Then, it was people against people. Now, it's people against walkin', talkin', bloodsuckin' cadavers."
