He smiled at her metaphor, nosing his way into her hair and planting kisses there. "That's perfect, actually. I forget who I was talking to about this, but they didn't get how I was okay with you living here but us being engaged. It's because I trust you and know you're happy this way and so am I. I don't want us to be that couple that wants to choke each other in forty years. This is... this is right and good." He moved backward enough to smile at her and meet her eyes.
