Who: Cable and Domino, with the Rogan family
What: Narrative Log
Where: Their spaceship, Genosha
When: A day or so ago
Warnings: Angst, pregnancy issues, sex, more angst, more sex. TL;DR

Domino sat on the examining table. The doctor was bustling around in her generally pleasant manner. Domino approved of her, in an odd kind of way.

"So, Loreen, who's watching your other child? I've never seen you come without Nathan, but you never talk about the other child."

"Excuse me?" Domino blinked in confusion, and looked over at her lover, as though he might know what she was talking about.

Cable blinked, eyes going wide. What?

"Other child?"

His eyes were a bit fixed as he asked, and he peered back at Domino, then looked at the doc.

"We... what other child?"

The doctor frowned. "I've examined Loreen, and she's given birth before. That's possibly why she's having such an easy pregnancy. . ." She was confused, and didn't know what to say.

Domino stared for a long moment, her face unable to become any paler, but she was shaking and felt cold suddenly.

Cable caught that and went to Domino, hugging her close, mind racing.

"Can... can you tell how long ago it was Doc?"

He was a little pale himself.

"And will it... will it affect the baby?"

"It. . .I mean it wasn't anytime recently. And no, the children should be just fine. They're developing beautifully." She was a bit taken aback. "I apologize if I've brought up bad memories, but you handled the exams better than most-" She bit off the word victim, since that was not quite what she meant. But the way they were both looking at her, dumbfounded, she couldn't imagine that this was something she wanted to explore further. "If you would like to cut today's appointment short, all three of you appear healthy and you can come in next week or so."

Domino didn't know how to react, her mind was going a thousand miles a minute. She nodded mutely, and clung to Nate.

"Thank you. We will see you next time."

Cable ignored the doc, lifted Domino in his arms, and carried her out. As soon as they were out of sight, he bodyslid them both directly to the bedroom in the ship. He set her down gently on their bed.

"Dom?"

He settled next to her, just holding her.

She took a minute to react, and her reaction was still well in the range of numb shock. "I don't. . . I haven't had another kid." But her voice was weak, wobbly. "Right?"

He paused and then shook his head.

"You have told me yourself there are times when you were not sure whether you had lost time, when things felt off. And that it was amazing you had not been through a lot worse."

He swallowed, unsure.

"I don't think it has happened, I didn't, but if the doctor was sure enough to say..."

She shivered. "That's a lot of time, Nate. I've been. . . through a lot, but that's above and beyond even acceptable levels of risk."

Her mind was reeling, still, but there was hurt, and anger. She shivered in Nate's arms, feeling as though she was going to vomit.

He hugged her tight, his mind gently touching the outside of hers, offering her a vent where it would not hurt anyone, so she could release the anger and some of the pain.

"I am here, tell me... tell me how you feel and what you want to do."

She took him at his word, and her mind screamed in rage and pain, even as she spoke. "I'm pissed. How did I loose that much time? How the hell did I have a child I didn't know about, that none of the Six Pack knew about? Who is the father? Is it alright? What kind of sick fucking world is this? First I see three children that I love dearly that don't exist in my world, who are the spawn of my late husband and so perfect it makes my heart ache that I can never see them again because they aren't mine. And now I've had a child, my own flesh and blood, and it could be stuck in some government tank being prodded at, or Lord knows where else, and I can't do a goddamn thing about it because I'm not even in the same world!"

She was still shaking, and as she spoke she started to cry, her words sobs as she curled up in Nate's arms, still reeling in the shock of the implications of this.

"Only thing I can think of is that either it happened when you were not with them, or all of your memories were altered, all at the same time."

He shuddered.

"It must have been during one of the periods when I was not there."

His failure of her hung over him like a shadow.

"If... if you want, we can try to find out, at least when, and where, and see if we could at least recognize the child... if we get a chance."

"I-I don't know, Nate. This is. . .so huge. I don't even know what to think, or even if thinking is a good idea." She had stopped shaking and crying, but now she was just sitting limp in his arms. "Can we go someplace warmer? The hot tub will do. I feel really cold."

He gently stroked her arms and held her, snuggling her close.

"Yes, Hang on." And they floated, zooming through the air and over the hot tub as it roared to life. A few minutes later, with her in his arms, then sank into the welcome water, clothing still on.

She simply sat in the water for a long time, breathing shallow at first, but deepening. "If. . . if I can't deal with this, will you take the memory away? I don't know if I can. . . after the alternate universe, and on top of everything else-" She snuggled into Nate, needing his touch.

He paused and then slowly nodded.

"If there is no other way, yes. I think you can, but if you want me to, yes I will."'

He held her and turned the water up, letting it heat them up as he held her close.

I think I know who to go to in order to get help in finding out if your mind was tampered, and if you lost that much time. I would not be a good choice, because I am too close, but I briefly worked with someone with a great deal of integrity.

He just held her close.

Domino nodded. I just need that out, honestly. If this gets too hard, I need to be able to walk away, even if I don't. Otherwise I won't go anywhere.

She knew herself too well. Who?

Cable nodded and snuggled her close.

understood.

He smiled softly and kissed her forehead.

Belladonna Rogan, one of the architects of the new resort on Genosha, and a telepath of some skill.

She won't. . .she can handle it? The memories were bound to be rough.

Cable paused, and then nodded.

Only one way to find out, but likely, yes. She is also exceptionally tough and an experienced worlds traveler. If anyone can, she can.

Can you contact her now? Or would that be bad? She wasn't sure about the ethics of telepathy.

Cable smiled.

I can. Hold on.

He reclined a little more and then stretched.

BELLADONNA ROGAN. MAY I SPEAK WITH YOU, PLEASE?

Belle woke with a start, and groaned. The world had better be ending, loudmouth.

She realized who it was, but she was in no mood to be chipper. The coffee pot turned on with a wave of her hand, and she slid out of bed, knowing that she would be up for the day.

Not really. But one woman's might be. I need your help. Badly.

The desperation was not shielded at all.

I'm awake. You can teleport in, right? I'm headed for here, the location she gave him was her kitchen, in latitude and longitude, down to the 18th decimal point. I've got coffee brewing already.

Yes. Thank you. I will be there in five, with Domino.

"She can see us now, and is waiting."

He hugged Domino.

"Are you ready?"

"Would you be?" She felt almost hollow again, and simply moved into his lap, resting her head on his chest.

He shook his head.

"Nonetheless... now or never."

"Sure."

She held onto him, hoping this would work out alright.

"Bodyslide by two to --." And he rattled off the coordinates.

And they vanished and reappeared in Genosha, where Belladonna was.

Belle smiled softly and welcomed them both in. She had pulled a pair of recliners into the kitchen, and had some breakfast cooking as well. "What's wrong?" No sense in beating around the bush, after all.

Domino perked up slightly at the smell of coffee and bacon.

Cable smiled faintly and slowly told what they knew, his voice quiet, as he glanced at Domino, every few moments, then nodded to Belle.

"You are the only strong telepath, not close to Dom like I am, who I trust. We need your help, Belle."

Dieu. Her face was placid as she listened, but only through extreme effort. She stood and tended to the bacon and eggs, giving both Nate and Domino eggs cooked the way they liked them. "Go ahead and eat, I'll try to be as unobtrusive as possible. And help yourself to the coffee."

She stretched her neck a little and settled into one of the recliners. "Might want to sit, Domino."

Domino nodded. "One second. Coffee."

Belle nodded. "I completely understand." Coffee is good.

Finally Domino settled into her chair, and Belle seemed to drift off, projecting herself into Domino's brain. Despite her lack of strength, this was the area she had the most skill in.

Cable just ate, and watched, and stayed next to Domino.

Belle poked gently at Cable's mind. Two things. First, you should both dry off. She's reacting like she's in shock, and needs to be dry and warm. There are blankets in the hall closet. And second, would you like to see what's in here, or not? Before you answer, realize that there is a very good reason I'm giving you option to opt out.

Domino ate hesitantly, not really tasting her food.

Cable reached out, and leached the water out, then raised the ambient temp of the air, and brought blankets flying to Domino, tucking them in around her with a gentle touch.

Can you make it a capsule so I can look at it if I need to later. I don't need to know right now, but she might want to later, and if she does, then having it will be nice. Please?

Domino relaxed a little, and sighed as the warmth wrapped around her. "Thanks, Nate."

Belle consented. Of course. It's not as bad later on, so there's nothing that would still be fresh, but, ah. Found it.

The capsule was sent to Nate's brain, and Belle slowly woke up.

Cable took it and tucked it in his mind, then handed Belle fresh coffee, and sat back, next to Domino. He was afraid of what she might have found.

Domino was nervous too, and held Nate's hand tightly.

"The only time that it could have happened was right before she joined X-force. She doesn't know certain who the father is, because she was heavily drugged. But, combining that with what I know of the time, and what Nate knows, I would hazard a guess that no matter who the father was, Toliver was the one who wound up with the kid."

She sighed, drinking her coffee. Even she was shaking now. "I've given Nate all the information I could glean. If there is a need for another third party opinion I'm available, but please don't."

Her tone was quite serious. "I'm sorry."

Cable gaped, and then groaned, his entire body jackknifing.

Fuck.

Then he nodded.

"Th--thank you, Belle."

Domino shivered and curled up at his name. Belle winced. "I'm so sorry."

She took one of Domino's blankets and wrapped it around Nate's shoulders. "Would you like to stay here for a while? It's a little crazy, but it might be better than bouncin' around in that huge ass ship."

She stroked Nate's back. It's not your fault. Not a bit. It was projected to both of them.

Nate nodded, and glanced at Domino, and hugged her close.

"Maybe in a hotel room? Just for a few nights."

"Is it okay if we stay here?" She wasn't sure if she was asking Nate or Belle. "It would be nice to be around kids for a bit, to make sure we actually, you know, like them."

Cable nodded.

"That is fine with me."

"We'd be happy to have you. Let me show you to a guest room, you're probably both exhausted." Belle stepped away from the pair, giving them room to move.

Domino rose, her actions wooden and automatic. She held Nate's hand, sure he would lead her where they were going.

"Thank you."

He moved with Domino, and followed Belle to a room.

He did not let go, either.

"You are a gracious host."

"Southern hospitality applies even when you're far from the American South." She smiled softly. "Beside, you helped me out before, and nobody deserves to be alone."

She led the pair to a rather large guest room, with a balcony that looked out over the pond and the woods in the back of their property. "Will this do?"

"Yes. Thank you. This will do nicely."

Cable smiled softly at her.

"Thank you, again."

It is very appreciated.

Domino nodded. "Yeah. Thank you. I. . . this is a lot nicer than most hotels."

Belle smiled softly. "We do try. Rest up, both of you. Time heals all wounds, even reopened ones."

She showed them the linens in the closet, and promised to have clothing in their size brought around by the time they felt like socializing. And then she left, before her veneer of strength cracked.

Holy God. How did she survive all that? She checked to see if Alex was awake, before heading to the bar in her office.

Domino curled up in the blankets she'd been under, on the bed. She desperately needed to be held, but was afraid to ask. This was just unbelievable hard for both of them. He had needs too, after all.

Cable snuggled her close, stripping them and cuddling blankets around them in a huge pile.

"I love you."

He snuggled close to her.

She smiled wanly at him. "I love you too."

Her body relaxed. "Are you okay?" It was a pretty rough thing to find out.

He smiled softly.

"I am shocked, and in shock and cursing my family, but I am mostly sorry I did not get you away from that bastard far earlier."

He growled low.

"He may have been my foster son, but... you are the one I love, Domino, and... argh."

If looks could have killed across time, Tyler likely would have died again.

"I know. If I had been two seconds faster, that bitch would have never taken my place, and there wouldn't be huge chunks of my life missing, and this wouldn't have happened at all."

Where had her powers been then? "God, I'm so scared, Nate. What if something like that happens to our kids?"

He shuddered and hugged her tight.

"We can only pray to teach them to be the best there ever will be, and to always walk together, and watch each other's backs. And to trust each other, better than we did.:"

He hugged her tight.

She buried her head in his chest. The energy to cry was gone, so she just settled there, touching him, her stomach pressed securely between them. Her hand stroked her side, around her belly. She was slowly relearning how to be faithful in the idea of a loving God. "It was a more dangerous time. Here we're safer than we've ever been."

He rocked her gently, and nodded.

He stroked her back and belly, too.

"Yes, and we can teach our kids what is and is not dangerous, and do our best to make a better world, though not a,perfect one. I have no desire to be a tyrant."

"Would take up too much time, anyway." Oddly enough, she found herself relaxing under the caresses. She had been afraid for a while that she would freeze up, like she before. But not this time. It was, she assumed, the difference between remembered pain and current pain, and being with someone she loved.

"I knew that he'd raped me, and that others had too, but I thought I was too malnourished to worry about it. And then all I could remember was the pain and the hunger."

She shivered a bit. "I didn't need to remember that again. I didn't need to live through it the first time."

He hugged her.

"I can dull it for you, some, if you want."

He stroked her face and back softly.

"You do not need it on your mind, love."

He hated that it had happened, with a passion.

She nodded. "I can't let myself get depressed or distracted. These children are our future, and if there's anything you've taught me, it's that the past's pain is worth it if it makes the future better."

Toward that end, she would do anything. Her childrens' health was her top priority.

He nodded and reached out, stroking her mind with love and warmth, and the intensity of those days faded, along with any details, any pain. All memories grew clouded and distant, like a nightmare.

He hugged her close as he sent her love and devotion.

She relaxed almost immediately, and was asleep within minutes. It was a troubled sleep, despite his best efforts, more recent heartbreak finally surfacing in her mind. It had been so easy to focus on the wild sex, and ignore the dull ache that had felt so heavy during the week of alternate memories.

He slept at her side, and snuggled her close.

His love surrounded her, even in sleep, and he was near waking, whenever she moved.

As the sun rose, the household woke around them. The children ran through the house, despite admonishments from both Belle and Alex, and Louis chased after them, not always remembering to be quiet himself.

He snuggled Domino close, even after breakfast came.

They had no place to be but with each other.

Belle was bleary eyed and muted. She hadn't been able to sleep after what she had seen, and she hadn't wanted to wake Alex, so she'd wandered through the house, checking on her children a half dozen times. She even went so far as to call Marius and Angela as soon as the sun came up to check on them. It just felt as though someone was tap dancing on her sense of paranoia.

The noise from the kids' room was a welcome distraction, and the morning potty run, or attempt thereat was the closest thing to a respite she got.

Alex was there, suddenly, with love wrapping around her as his arms did.

"What's wrong, love?"

She snuggled into him, kissing him. "Cable and Domino woke me up in the middle of the night."

She launched into the whole story, while she drank another cup of coffee.

He listened, and winced, and shuddered, and hugged her very close.

"Oh my God..."

He shook his head, and projected love and warmth to her.

"Are you going to be okay?"

"Honestly? Not today. I've never seen so much. . .I was very lucky to grow up in the Guild. And using my sexuality meant that more often than not I wound up consenting to men who would have fucked me with or without that. The others I could persuade to back down with my telepathy. She had none of that, and a more dangerous job. I'll be alright once the memories fade, but until then. . ."

She shivered.

He hugged her gently and stroked her face and back, snuggling close.

"I am sorry love. I hope she and you both find solace and forgetfulness."

"I'll be alright, cher. I asked 'em both to stay, if that's alright?"

Alex nodded.

"Of course it is. They need people, I imagine, and stability. We can be here, even if we cannot solve this."

"Good. They're in the big guest room, which means we'll have to keep the kids relatively quiet. I woke Annie and Marius up at the crack of dawn, so they might be in to help."

"We can try. As long as they need it, we will be here."

It was the next day before Domino really felt like dealing with people other than Nate again. As she'd said, she wanted to spend some time there, watch an actual family function. So she got dressed in the pajamas Belle had provided, and slipped out into the house at large.

The first person she ran into was Louis. He smiled brightly at her. "Hey! I heard you were here! It's nice to see you again."

Nate was right behind her and winced at Louis's enthusiasm, but smiled faintly anyway.

"Hello, Louis. How are you?"

"I'm good. It's nice to see you both again." Louis wasn't oblivious to the fact that they were hurting. He just didn't know how to help. "Did the kids wake you up? They're always rowdy when Marius is here. He gets them wound up on purpose."

Because Marius enjoyed the noise.

Domino shook her head. "Can you show us where the kitchen is? I forget."

Cable nodded.

"Time for breakfast, and all. I hope all are okay today?"

"Yeah. How are you two?" He led the way down the hall, intercepting Marcus as he chased after Angela, hauling the squirming boy over his shoulder.

Marcus smiled at Domino, not bothered much by being carried. "Hi lady."

She smiled a little. "Hello." Her smile was small, but sincere. "You're a cutie."

"I know. Momma says I'm an evil terror." He sounded quite proud of the fact. "I'm Marcus, and that's Angela, and this," he patted Louis's back, "is my pony."

Cable chuckled.

"My mother said something similar, once upon a time."

He nodded to the kids.

"I am Cable, this is Domino, and it is nice to meet you all."

"Nice to meet you too." Marcus smiled at them brightly. Louis pretended to take offense to the pony remark, and put Marcus down.

"You can walk, for that."

Marcus pouted, then went off to play with his sister.

"You, an evil terror? I can't imagine." Domino's smiles were becoming more and more genuine, less forced. "The priest always joked that he thought I needed at least three exorcisms."

Cable made a face at Domino.

"Nah. Just a good breakfast, with meat and veggies."

Which made Domino laugh. It was a short, uncertain laugh, but it was real. She smiled and held his hand as Louis took them to the kitchen. "I'll be around if you guys want anything. Belle and Alex are going to be out for a bit. Marius will be where ever the most noise is, and Annie will be around."

He smiled at the pair. "There's some of the leftovers from dinner in the fridge. I have to admit, Belle can cook when she's in the mood."

Meaning that she'd made a meal so large Marius had taken portions to work with him that night to give to the nurses, and Louis had taken some to Vance and Max, and there was still nearly more than the fridge could hold of the fragrant, tasty food.

"I recommend putting it in the microwave for a minute or so, and having some water handy. I couldn't feel my tongue all last night."

Cable grinned at making her laugh and followed.

"Thanks."

Cable rooted in the fridge, pulling out enough to feed an army, and began heating it up.

He was a little hungry.

Domino was right behind him, peering at the microwave. "So, this is different. Is this what it was like at the Institute?"

The random encounters in the halls, having access to food made by people that weren't them.

"Sometimes. Sometimes it was busy and dangerous or slow and boring, and sometimes it was like a combination of a frat house and family."

"Must have been interesting."

Marcus was peering into the room, with Angela behind him. New people are interesting! Domino pretended not to notice. "Do you miss it?"

Cable pondered.

"Sometimes? Family is nice. But I also prefer to not live by other people's rules. There is only one person I am interested in making rules with, and that is you."

She nodded, pulling the food out of the microwave. "So, where do we go from here?"

He smiled and stroked her back.

"We take some time off, and let this place, and all it's really rather cool-ness soak in, and we go one day at a time. I'm not going anywhere, and we will be okay."

She nodded and leaned on the counter, eating the leftovers. "I wonder what happened to the kid?"

He shook his head.

"I don't know. We could try to find out, see if it is mentioned in those weird comic books they have here... but we may never know, love."

She sighed and nodded. "I always swore that my kids wouldn't grow up like I did. And now I realize there are a lot worse things than being raised by a priest who likes you."

She poked at her food, not terribly hungry anymore.

He gently stroked her back.

"We don't know your child had a bad life. All we know is you were pregnant. We can hope for good things."

"How do you do that?" Her voice was soft.

He smiled softly.

"One moment at a time, one breath at a time, and together."

She nodded and stroked his arm. "Alright. You should eat, you know. Your body doesn't handle starvation any better than mine."

He chuckled and shook his head.

"Yes, love."

And he started making a sandwich, stacking it high.

"You are the most remarkable woman I know."

"Bah. Remarkable is such a versatile word. Deadpool is remarkable. Wars are remarkable."

She smiled, a shadow of the smile she usually wore when she was teasing him. "But you are an excellent, wonderful, awesome man."

Marcus was bored and hungry. He had been trying to concentrate on being quiet, but the truth was that even as an adult he wasn't that great at it. So he wandered in, looking up at Nathan and Domino. "Fooooood." It was kind of a question.

Cable eyed him.

"Ask your parents."

It was a firm, but not unkind absolute.

"Momma and Dadda are doin' stuff." This was from Angela, who followed her brother in.

Domino snickered a little. "What about Louis?"

"He wenta work."

"Who is watching you two?"

Cable was not alarmed, mind you, just curious, but he did glance around, with eyes and mind.

"Marius." They spoke in unison, and Angela pulled out a chair to sit on. Marcus wandered over and poked her leg.

Belle shielded Alex and herself from Cable's prod, and directed him to Marius, who was snoring softly under his guitar in the living room, surrounded by the kids' toys.

"Ah."

Cable poked Marius with a loud telepathic bolt, and slipped his guitar away from his body before gently tipping the man over.

Marius groaned, and blinked. "Whu?"

Kids. Where were the kids? He looked around. They were quiet. Too quiet.

"Angie? Marcus?"

He wandered toward their rooms, which happened to be on the other side of the kitchen from the living room.

Domino quirked an eyebrow at Nate, wondering what he was doing.

Cable grinned at her and let her 'see' as he poked Marius again.

"Missing something, oh host?"

"Two trouble making little squirts." Marius peered into the kitchen. Marcus stuck his tongue out, and Angela pointed at the fridge.

"FOOD!" Her tone was more demanding.

Domino suppressed a giggle, and Marius shook his head. "Spoiled banshee. Alright, what do you two want to eat? It is getting close to lunch time, and God knows when Mom'll be done helping Dad in the lab."

Which was, of course, a sneaky cover, but why bother revealing it?

Cable chuckled.

"There is still some soup from last night, I think."

"Bleh. We want that." Marcus pointed to Cable's sandwich, and Angela nodded.

Marius blinked. "But you don't like that."

He already knew he'd lost. But he wasn't willing to admit it yet.

Domino bent over, and offered her bowl to the kids. "Want to try a bite first?"

Cable shook his head.

"It's a sandwich that is bigger than you both."

Marius shook his head. "I promise you they could eat it. I'd keep my limbs clear if I were you." He grinned a little at Nate. "They're voracious."

Angela took a large bite of Domino's food, and made a face. It was too hot for her. Domino offered a bite to Marcus, but he shook his head. "Might want to get the girl a glass of water."

Cable nodded and floated one her way, down to her hands, even as he ate at his sandwich quickly.

"How are you today, Marius?"

"Tired. Emergency surgery. Brain tumor decided it was time to go kamikaze. Don't know if the patient will regain consciousness."

He shrugged. "You?"

"Oh you know, save the world, find out about old trauma, get psychically redacted by a friend, and meet her crazy family."

"Fun fun. Alright kiddies. Food time." He gave the kids their own sandwiches, and sat next to them. "You been bothering Nate and Domino?"

Cable chuckled.

"They have been fine this morning. Very cute. "

Domino nodded, watching Angela down her water. "Adorable. It's nice to be able to interact with them."

Marius laughed a little. "They're really cute when you don't have to potty train them yourself. I thought diapers were bad."

Marcus ate his sandwich one ingredient at a time, munching on the lettuce first.

Cable chuckled.

"They are cute even then. If you like kids."

He ruffled Marcus's hair... and Marius's. Just because.

Marcus wiggled happily. He liked it when people touched him. Marius laughed a little and straightened his hair. "Then would you mind watching them? I said I'd do this before thing went to hell last night, and I'm running on half a Red Bull."

Cable glanced at Domino.

"Lady's choice."

"Eh, let him sleep. The kids are obviously running all over him, and I don't mind watching them until Belle or Alex get too sore to keep fucking."

Marcus giggled a little at Domino's language, and Angela dug her elbow into his ribs.

"Ow. thanks for reminding me. Like I needed even more mental scarring."

Then he realized what an ass he sounded like. "Um, thanks. I'll be in the guest room next to Annie's room if you need me."

He gave Domino and Nathan a smile, kissed each of the kids, and went off to bed.

Cable chuckled.

"Eat up, little ones. Breakfast is good for you."

They nodded and ate, then wandered off to the living room. Domino followed, putting her empty bowl in the sink. "Coming, sexy?"

cable laughed and followed, bouncing in his step, eyes on Domino and warmth in his mind.

They spent the next two hours watching the kids. Domino got down on the floor and played with the babies, curious about them, as much as they were curious about her.

By and by, her smiles and laughter lost the hollow tone, and she was grinning openly at both the children and Nate by the time Belle wandered into the room, lips still puffy and red, a rather large hickey on the underside of her chin just starting to color.

"Havin' fun?"

Cable raised his eyebrows at the sight.

"I am. Your children are adorable."

Marcus was currently spinning with one of his toys keeping pace and humming for him.

Belle blushed a little and pulled her sweater's collar up a bit. "We all react to stress differently."

Angela tottered over to her mother. Belle smiled and sat on the ground in front of her. "Momma, Can we keep 'em?" She pointed a chubby finer at Domino. "She's nice."

Cable laughed as he sent Marcus over to his mom and landed him next to his sister.

"They're fun!"

Marcus was bouncy! Not sleepy at all! No yawn here!

Belle laughed and rubbed Marcus's head, and kissed both of the children. "No, sweetie, Nathan and Domino are just staying for a little while. Like Uncle Louis. But I'm sure you'll see them again. After all, they're always welcome."

She stood, a child balanced on each hip. "I think it's time for a nap. Your daddy's already gone to sleep. Marius is napping too. Everybody needs a nap."

Domino laughed a little, and stood to be close to Nate. "I don't think I'm nervous about being a mom anymore. That was the most fun I've had with my clothes on."

Cable grinned and kissed Domino.

"We'll retire to our room... see you later?"

He was smiling and grateful.

"Oui. I'll have lunch ready in a couple hours, if you get hungry, and dinner's around five. Will you be joining us, or would you rather see more of Genosha?"

She turned, smiling at her guests.

Domino snuggled into Nate, kissing him back. "We'll join you tonight, and explore tomorrow, if that's alright?"

Is that alright, Nate? Or would you rather spend some time away from the crazy?

"We'll be here tonight. Thank you, and see you soon."

He led her toward their room as he spoke to her.

That's fine. I like them. They are nice. It reminds me some of the Mansion.

Except with more sex.

Domino giggled a little. Poor woman. I didn't think she'd blush when you gave her that look. She poked his side.

He laughed.

"A lot of people seem to take me as somehow authority. Which, I suppose, when i was younger, I tried for. It is just funny to me, sometimes, when someone like her sees me that way, and reacts to it."

Domino nodded, and closed the door of their room, smiling at her lover. "Mmmmm, care to wield your authority over me? It's actually been over twenty fours hours since we last had sex."

Which was some kind of record, even when they weren't getting along.

He laughed and pulled her close, kissing her long, and hard.

Mmmmm, on your back, young lady. I am hungry!

"Yes, sir." She smiled and flopped onto her back, resting her heels on the edge of the bed. "I can't let my lover go hungry, after all."

He laughed as he stroked her body and pulled her clothing off of her, before slowly sinking between her legs.

He gave her a smirk as he puffed hot air over her pussy and lowered his mouth, licking softly there.

She groaned and opened her legs wider, giving him better access. "Mmmmm. That feels nice."

A shiver ran through her body, and she broke out in goosebumps, her nipples hardening with the sensation.

She stroked her hand over her fuller breasts, and teased her nipples as Nate licked her pussy.

He moaned into her, stroking her thighs as his tongue slipped along her clit, and he sucked on her pussy softly.

So good, so mmmmm

Her body was quite eager for the attention, and she looked down at him, somewhat amused by the fact that she couldn't see as much of his face as she was used to, now that she was beginning to show.

She'd never lived the kind of life where looking back on the past had any use. All that mattered was the here and now. Here and now, she had a wonderful lover, who was going down on her.

What more could a woman ask for? Her mind made contact with his, while she was still coherent, and her love, excitement, lust, pleasure, and hundreds of other emotions poured from her, into him, even as she felt his emotions.

He groaned and sent her pleasure and love, lust and warmth, all into her as he licked and sucked her soft pussy, his tongue wiggling along her clit, teasing it.

The pleasure in her mind began to take precedence, and soon all the fainter, more complex emotions faded away, her body's responses becoming the most important thing in the world to her.

"Mmm, God, Nate, s-so good."

He channeled his own pleasure at making her feel good to her as well, as he licked and sucked her faster, wanting her to feel that pleasure.

Her whimpers and moans filled the room, and there was a brief moment where she wondered if the room next to them were empty.

But she doubted anyone would say anything, so she didn't hold back. Soon she was wiggling and writhing under his tongue, groaning and panting as he lapped and sucked her pussy.

This felt amazing.

He was more than glad to redouble his efforts, sending his tongue swirling deep into her pussy then up around her clit as a finger slid in instead, sliding deep in and out of her.

Her body twitched and she groaned, coming around and under him, her mind reverberating with her pleasure, which she willfully poured into him. She wanted him to feel good, too.

He grinned as he slowly lifted his head and smiled, pleasure and love filling him.

Love you.

Love you too, Nate. She sat up, with a little more difficulty than normal, and kissed his forehead. I couldn't have handled that without you. I can't wait to see our children. They're going to be so beautiful.

You could do it, love.

He kissed her softly.

I love you, and I will love them, as well.

She returned his kiss, her hands stroking down his body. "It's can't be too comfortable down there. You should come up here, with me."

He shivered and grinned and slithered up her body, telekinesis aiding him in stroking her body with his until he settled atop her, warm, but not crushing. He kissed her again.

"Mmmm, much better."

"Yes." Her hands stroked his back and ass, and she kissed him again, more passionately.

He groaned as he wiggled against her, teasing her and his body both with the movements.

She groaned a little, her eyes meeting his, her body reacting readily. "Mmmm. You're so wonderful, Nathan." Her body shivered.

He grinned and kissed her hard, then stroked his cock along her pussy, pressing slightly, but not quite entering her.

"Mmmm, you feel pretty good, yourself, gorgeous."

That drew a torturous groan from her. "Oh, please, Nate. I want you to fuck me."

Her body was aching for him. All the pain and sadness needed a release, and the tension in her body would be best exercised by her lover's body.

He kissed her and plunged in, feeling her readiness, and knowing her cares. His thrust was swift, but not cruel as his telepathy and telekinesis gently stroked her body's nerves, sending pleasure shooting across and through her.

Her mind was still connected to his, so he could feel her joy and pleasure as he slid into her. The preparation had made sure that she was able to take him without pain, even though he was quite large.

Her hands gripped the sheets, and she threw her head back, hair splayed out around her and she writhed in pleasure. "Mmmm, yeah!"

He groaned as he stroked her breasts and belly and began to fuck her, eyes on her face, grinning as joy filled his mind and pleasure filled his body,. his cock burying deep in her pussy, which felt like heaven and sweetness and incredible fire and so much good that he cried out her name in joy.

His cries made her shudder, and she closed her eyes, for a moment, just enjoying the sensations and his voice. That voice alone was capable of making her wet her panties even on her worst days. Hearing him call her name like that, and seeing all the nuances behind it was incredible, and everything became magnified a hundred times with that connection, that knowledge.

He groaned again and fucked her, faster, harder, driving his cock deep into her pussy, groaning at the feel of it, of knowing it was her, pleasure soaring into him.

She whimpered and begged for more, body and mind, loving this, loving him, loving their life together. Even if things weren't perfect, they were the best they would probably ever get. Her body came closer and closer to its peak, and coherency, and thought slid away, leaving only her pleasure and love.

He shuddered and kissed her hard as he fucked her, coming even as he did, and crying out her name as he kept moving, kept fucking her tight, hot pussy with his hard cock, groaning at how good, how powerful it felt. She was his love, his life, his near-wife, and he could not wait to have her and her children forever.

Domino came with him, groaning his name as their pleasure flooded her mind, blanking out anything but the joy that was this moment.

She groaned as he continued to fuck her, and kissed him. You should roll over, love. I don't want you to get tired too quickly.

Hours later, Belle was humming softly, rushing around the kitchen, chatting with Alex as they made dinner. With Cable and Domino in a much better place than they had been, it was easier for her to deal with what she had seen. She flirted shamelessly with her husband, glad to have the entire family there for dinner, as well as their guests.

Marius was with the kids, playing songs for them, his mother's good mood infecting the kids, which in turn infected him. He played softly, so he wouldn't disturb anyone else, but the kids sang along with him, which defeated the purpose, anyway.

Not that he minded.

Cable came in, grinning, a step before Domino, happy, bouncy, and very... beaming.

"Anything we can do to help?"

Belle beamed at them both. "Help me set the table, please? And thanks for watching the kids earlier. Poor Marius. I forgot about Lou-ie's work schedule, and my mind wasn't in any shape to be working, then."

Ah, the things a nap and getting your brains fucked out will cure. "Glad to see you two are feeling better."

Domino nodded. "Yeah. Well, you know, can't dwell on the past forever."

Cable nodded.

"Sure! Where are the settings?"

He stroked Dom's back gently.

Belle fed them both the information, and went back to her pot roast for a moment, before moving to put the dirty utensils and pot in the dishwasher. "Don't worry about anything too fancy. What would you like to drink with- MARIUS JOSHUA ROGAN IF YOU DON'T STOP PUTTING YOUR FLESHLIGHT IN THE DISHWASHER I'M GOING TO SEND IT TO CARIS WITH A BOW TIED AROUND IT!"

Domino blinked, a little taken aback at the noise. She was used to people who were a little unstable, but hadn't been expecting it now. Despite herself, she giggled a little.

Marius stood, depositing his guitar on the floor, before bounding back to the kitchen. "What? Oh shit. Sorry Mom. It's clean, I ran it with, uh, other things like that. Um, sorry." He flailed a little.

Cable broke down into laughing, the plates floating to their places dipping for a second into little dances before he controlled them again.

"Well, that sounds all kinds of like the mansion, yep."

Domino was laughing, mostly a Marius's face. She leaned on Cable, unable to keep herself upright.

Marius glared at Belle who laughed and kissed his forehead. "You should bring Caris over for dinner. It'll be good for her to meet the rest of the family."

He grumbled, and retrieved his toy. "I'll probably see her tonight, I'll ask if she wants to see my crazy family."

Belle ruffled his hair with her telekinesis, and shuffled him to his seat.

Alright, food's ready. Everyone who's going to eat needs to get in here now.

Cable chuckled and held Dom as the settings settled.

"Where do you want us?"

"Anywhere's fine. We don't have assigned seats." She settled into her place, floating the children into their high chairs. Marius got up to grab a root beer, and nearly bumped into Louis, who had just gotten in from work.

Louis took a seat, then got up, grabbed a bottle of water, and sat back down.

Domino shrugged, and picked the spot next to Louis, putting her legs on the seat next to her until Nate came to claim it.

Cable settled next to Domino on the other side, grinning, settling in
with a smile to Domino and Louis.

Alex came in and smiled to everyone, kissed his wife, and settled to his
seat, even as Angela came in, plunked down in her bathrobe, and grinned.

Belle smiled and waved the food over, kissing her husband. She bowed her head in prayer for a moment, not speaking, simply thinking the words, before she moved to take a drink of her wine.

Marius paused, waiting for his mother to finish praying, out of respect.

Domino dug in, not used to the intricacies of table manners, and not feeling very respectful of others' religion right that second.

Louis started to serve himself when he saw others doing it, poking his niece. "Just wake up, sleepyhead?"

Cable listened, in every way, and then started eating. It never hurt, after all.

He was reaching for food as Julien hustled in.

"Sorry all! Business meetings held me up, and traffic. Can I get in beside you, Marius?"

He was still stripping off a tie as he sat down and waved around.

"Thank god I am home."

Domino blinked up at him, then waved. Marius nodded, and scooted over for his uncle. "The traffic is hellacious around this time of day. I usually just walk after four."

Genosha's infrastructure was not so great, actually.

The babies reacted to their uncle, and Belle grinned at him. "Always gotta make an entrance, huh?"

Julien smiled, and made faces at the kids, then one even more silly at Belle.

"Sorry, Belle. You know me I never can be a good boy."

She smirked. "Angie, Julien, this is Cable and Domino. Cable, Domino, my adult daughter and my brother."

She poured Julien a glass of wine.

Domino inclined her head. "Nice to meet you."

Cable nodded to them.

"Good to meet you."

Angie grinned and waved to them, her mouth full, and Julien eyed them, but with a smile. Anyone Belle accepted, he would accept.

The meal was fairly chaotic. Marcus was fussy, and demanded to be fed by Alex, who was, naturally, next to Angela, who didn't want to give up her father's attention. Belle sighed, and continued to try and get some of the meat and carrots into her younger son.

Marius ate thoughtfully, cutting his food up thoroughly. He didn't talk much, and usually he spoke to Angie.

Louis chattered with everyone freely, and managed to compliment every female at the table, including baby Angela.

Domino was almost too busy watching all this to eat.

Almost.

Cable sent food floating to Marcus, to distract him, and smiled. It all felt... nice. Homey.

Domino smiled at his thoughts. Maybe we could expand our brood a little bit. You seem to enjoy the idea of a larger family.

Maybe later? I want to do this right with you.

He grinned as he let Marcus eat the tidbit, and nodded to Belle.

They all look so happy.

Well, of course it would be later. I don't want to be pregnant all the time.

Belle smiled at him, Thanks. We do our best. If you ever need help with your own children, or just a break from them, You're more than welcome here.

Cable nodded and grinned at Belle.

Thank you. A place like this... is a godsend. His mental voice was warm.

There had to be one universe where Genosha actually worked. She smiled widely, and winked at him. I guess we're just the right pair of megalomaniacs.

Louis finished first, and put his plate in the sink. "Hey, Julien, we should go do something tomorrow. I'm off, and you said you'd show me the cool parts of this place."

Julien chuckled.

"You've got it. My meeting is early, and as soon as that is done, I am at your service for the day."

He nodded. Alex was playing with the kids, though he listened.

"The beach on the other side of Genosha is supposedly doing well, so you could always go there."

Cable just smiled and settled back to snuggle with Domino and eat.

Belle smiled at her husband, and ate, finally. "Beach is nice. There's a club close by, if you spend the day out. Probably give you both something to do."

Domino held Nate's hand under the table. She liked this feeling. Everyone was close, and they obviously liked each other. It was very nice, and safe feeling.

Cable sent love and warmth to his wife, watching the family, watching them all.

This was nice, indeed.
