He had her in his arms and he wasn't going to let her go. But if she concentrated, she might have felt a little rush of magic run through James. It caused an extra bit of electricity between the two of them.
James exhaled quietly after a minute or so. The park was slightly transformed, little magical lights floating around. Every inch of the place had a soft, silver glow. And the fountain had come back to life. The sudden changes in the park had caused some birds to fly off.
"You hum well," James said, once everything looked good enough. He turned with her in his arms and brushed his lips over a sensitive spot on her throat.
