Greg had one hand set firmly on the stretcher, the other wrapped tightly around his cane. He steered them right at Julien, knowing he'd be anxious to see Jack.
"Take him with you to the hospital. He's the man's medical proxy," Something he might have just made up, but he could argue the legalities later. There was so much going on around the city, they were likely to slip right through the cracks, anyway.
"I'll be acting as his primary." One of the EMTs looked about to protest, which quickly died when he saw the look on Greg's face. "I'll follow the ambulance. I want his blood spinning before I make it in the building."
