Truthfully, Anne was beyond thrilled over their news, too. The fact that Sam was so happy only made her happier. She didn't have to be a god to see that he was pleased with himself and totally smitten with her. It made her feel loved.

She nuzzled up against him, nodding. "Yes. But it's not that bad." A pause as she considered. "Once you're in the air."

Pushing off the seat a little, she kissed his cheek and when he turned to look at her, she took the opportunity to kiss him properly. Very softly, sweetly and gently. "I love you."
