He was awake mostly, all night with her. After she'd gotten out of the bed he coudln't sleep as well. After Anne's shower, he got up and took one of his own. After he was clean and dressed, he made coffee for himself and tea for her by way of breakfast. He'd barely finished the cup before the car taking them to the airport honked in the driveway.
"You ready to go?" He asked a stupid question and grabbed both of their bags.
