"You're welcome." She hesitated a second, not completely sure whether she should get a little closer or not. Invading his space might not be a good idea. But before she could really debate about this with herself, she floated closer to him. She moved slowly enough that he could get out of her way if he didn't want the contact. Then, she attempted to wrap her arms around him in a gentle hug.
Maybe it was a bad idea, but he looked like he needed it. And he was family. Family was there for each other. "I'm sorry," she said in a quiet whisper.
