He listened to her speak and just nodded, trying not to cry. "Apparently I did hurt him already. Though I wish I hadn't. Maybe I could've helped. It aches because we're so alike." He ran his fingers through his hair, tugging slightly before reaching out for her hand. "Thank you. I'm just... glad you're here."
He was a little hungry, but the idea of a bath sounded really nice too. "I'm hungry, but I'd like a bath, if you don't mind?" He half hoped she'd sit with him. He'd missed her, and hadn't realized just how much until he'd walked in the door.
