Pete nodded. "I know. We were just talking about him the other day." He sighed and looked down into her lap. "She felt pretty about since she's been giving you a hard time. She's so stressed, I told her, slow down at work, she works herself so much." He shook his head. "That's my fault, unfortunately. I wouldn't let her do what she wanted to with her life, I raised her to work hard, she doesn't know any different."
Pete nodded. "I think someone said those little girls got to go home. They made it out early on in the day. But I'll stay with her if you want to go make a phone call. I have to figure out who'll be wanting to come see her."
