"It's... uh..." She ran a hand through her hair, shaking her head and stroking Kitten, murmuring something to the critter that sounded like ice patches running down a creek, leaves across the surface of water, and like that Kitten slid down from her shoulder and vanished off one end of the bar, "It's a play. Two different plays, really, but one of them is a modernization of the other."
She shrugged, "The Capulets and the Montagues are from Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare, and the Sharks and the Jets are from West Side Story that's a musical based on the original work."
