Kyoko straightened her skirt, looking at her reflection. She blushed, thinking that this date was going to be slightly awkward considering she had just recently been a two-year old while talking to him. Gods that was embarrassing to her. Though it also brought a smile to her face when she noticed the pictures her father had taken of the family while she and Tyler had both been small.

"It's now or never," she murmured to herself, slipping her shoes on and grabbing her purse before heading down to meet Lavan.

He was bouncy, waiting for her, and nervous. Her was uncertain what exactly tonight was. Mentioning it casually to his agent, the man had said it was a date, and Lavan was confused. He did not know what a date was.

He knew he liked Kyoko, and was glad to spend time with her.

This modern world surprised and confused him, but she was... warm,. and nice, and somehow, a strength that cut through it all.

He bounced, and worried, and pondered, and waited.
