Boots had decided to do some preliminary tests in walking. She watched people walking and how they moved their legs and feet and hips, and she stood, mimicking the walk of a businessman. Then the walk of a waitress. She then nodded and tried to walk in a way that suited her small stature and strange outfit. It was a spectacle to say the very least -- a girl of about five feet tall who had skin that looked like a mottled pearl, and hair that looked like it had been taken straight out of a pillow batting factory, attempting to walk for the very first time. She finally realized that she was making a scene when she saw everyone at the cafe was looking at her.
She sat back down and clasped her hands together in her lap, looking utterly innocent. It was an interesting sensation, being able to feel a heartbeat, being able to walk as People do. She churred quietly to herself, sounding quite like a squirrel who had just lost her stash of pine nuts and acorns.
