Ray reached up to ruffle Reina's hair, once he and Greg were on their feet again, each with a girl in their arms. It occurred to him they didn't have transportation, and God was gone. Stepping out into the evening, he smiled at the car sitting in the driveway.
"Maybe she really does love us," he muttered at Greg. "I'll drive."
