As much as Ray wanted to hover and make sure Greg was all right, his mind was otherwise focused. The girls were in danger. Tritter may have been Greg's ghost, but the girls were Ray's babies. He'd made it doubly personal, for Greg, and for Ray.
Ray moved forward, toward the kitchen. He had to believe God would keep the girl's safe. Nothing would happen to them. He and Greg would take care of the detective.
