"That's beautiful. You'll have to teach me how to spell it." He sighed a little when he kissed her, nodding his agreement to the vase idea. As she was away, he gave instructions to the men setting up dinner to put out plates and flatware as well, and he smiled a little bit when they even set up a candelabra. He gave them a little extra for that and was glad when they left. He'd just paid them extra for the plates and things, not really wanting to bother with returning them the next day.
Once she put the vase on the table, he helped her to arrange the flowers in it, moving the candles away from the flowers so they wouldn't ignite. After lighting the candles, he held a chair out for her. "You don't have to, really."
