"It is more than magic, Father," Henry said. "I am a vampire."
There. He'd said it. He just didn't know how his father would react. Before the other man could say anything, Henry pushed forward.
"I fell in love with... well I suppose you could call her my sire," Henry explained. "She came to your Court when I was too young to be jaded but old enough to enjoy the flesh. I am, afterall, my father's son." He offered him an impish grin.
"However, she was not as she appeared to be. When she revealed to me who she was, I was so blinded by love that I begged for her to turn me so that we could spend eternity together."
