Lorna was flailing. It was almost time for Cable and Domino to show up, and she was having a last minute flail. Mostly because she was nervous and wanted to make a good impression. Also because she had no idea how she was going to relate to them.

Also, she really hoped that there wouldn't be any dramatics. She got enough of that from her brother.

So Lorna was in the kitchen, building a fort out of the various soda cans.

	Domino's plate was nearly as full as Nate's, and she had a glass of milk as well as her juice. She started in on her meal, eating as though it might run away. But she nodded emphatically after Nate remarked on the food's quality. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Alex grinned as he got food and a new glass of juice, and poured some for Lorna, too. Settling back in his seat, he ate for a moment and watched them. Wow... a family... that was not, yet, being attacked. This was... nice. Weird, but nice. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Lorna settled into a chair, and ate for a minute, glad that things were going well. She liked Alex's family better than hers. "So, how is the pregnancy going?"
