Ianto had made plans for his date with Reinette. It was a case of playing the idea that something had gone wrong at his place and they couldn't eat there. Make up something like a broken pipe that some plumber was then fixing. Really he'd been planning something as a surprise, a quiet evening at a place in town. He stood waiting for Reinette to meet him so he could tell her, then hopefully the taxi would have turned up to meet them.

	Reinette blinked. "I... I have never flown. Where I come from, well, flying wasn't exactly a science as of yet." She chuckled, taking his hand. "Is that Owen's daughter?" Kit just nodded, she wouldn't ruin Ianto's surprise so while they got settled she did one final check of the plane before climbing in after them and closing the door to.

"Tell you and ruin the surprise?" Ianto shook his head, he wasn't giving away the secret that easily. Yes it would have been so much quicker to go by portkey but this way Ianto figured was a little more romantic and memorable.

	Reinette smiled and rested against Ianto. His touch felt grip and made her feel happy as she gazed out the window. As the plane took off, she was very excited, a shiver running down her spine. Briefly wondering how badly Owen would react to him retconning his oldest daughter.

"You don't have to thank me." He insisted, as best he could. "I suppose I should tell you where we're going, since I'm really not sure how long it'll take." He would eventually go check with Kit about that, but for the time he was staying in his seat. With the belt firmly in place. "Edinburgh."
