Booth set down his PDA and got to his feet, pacing. Pacing had gotten him in trouble as he talked to Bones. That's when he'd seen the pictures. He ran his fingers through his hair, shifting. She would be home shortly and he didn't know what to do or say. Things had always been tense with them. Not in a bad tense, but in a sexually charged tense. There was obvious something between them, but neither had crossed that line.

Then they end up here. Here they were married. He looked down at his hand, flexing his fist as the platinum band caught the light. He hadn't lied when he said he thought of them married before. Especially when Parker would ask why Bones couldn't be his mama too. Rebecca always loved that, but Booth had just smiled, patted his son's head and told him that he and Bones were just friends. That's all. But now he found himself married to her. With no memories of the wedding, their honeymoon... of being intimate with her.

"Damn," he grunted some as his body stiffened at the idea of Bones beneath him in bed. He shifted, his mind quickly going to anything that would make him not think of Bones and cause him to harden further.

"Okay... Hodgins naked... *Zack* naked..." Just thinking of Zack, naked or not, sobered Booth. He tried to shake it off as he went back to pacing and waiting for Bones to get home.

Wherever Bones had been dropped off from the vortex thing it didn't appear to be too far away from where she and Booth now lived. In fact she rather thought that she had landed at her work, since the place seemed to fit, it was a bit like a lab but she'd figure that out later. As much as she wanted to concentrate on work, the fact that she was married to Booth was a bit more pressing then she wanted to admit.

Married? The two of them? Whose idea of a joke was that? Not that things hadn't been a little weird between them, especially after Caroline had made them kiss for her own benefit. It seemed like everyone knew what was going on but the two of them. But now they were married. She'd never been married before to anyone, and really it was something she didn't think she knew a whole lot about.

As she got up to the address that was on her id, she found she had keys, and let herself in, closing the door behind her. "Booth?" she called out. Oh lord her last name was Booth. Temperance Booth. How weird was that? "I'm.. uh.. home."

	Booth paused in his pacing. He turned and walked over to the doorway, taking in Bones as she stood there. He gave her a bit of a lopsided grin. "Welcome home," he said. He cleared his throat some. "Was... thinking of doing the pleasantries and stuff of how was your day but..." He lifted one strong shoulder. "We aren't exactly having a normal day." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

This was totally weird, and she didn't often think things were weird. "Definitely not normal.." she said quietly, managing to smile back at him. At least he was here right? And not completely alone in all of this new world stuff. If she'd been all alone, she wouldn't know what she'd be doing.

Temperance let out a breath and looked around, "This place is.. nice. Way nicer then my old place.. way nicer then your old place too.." there were things she was thinking of, like if there was one bedroom and one bed, but they'd figure that out later right?

"I'm still trying to get myself to believe that this whole alternate universe thing is possible. I mean science fiction is called fiction for a reason.." she said, sticking her hands in her pockets.

"Yeah well, I'm not really believing it much, myself, but even I don't think the squint squad could pull a joke like this on us both," Booth said. "Not even Hodgins has the money to pull this off."

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Um... we could order Chinese, I guess. Not worry about cooking something so we can sort this out..."

Did he want to sort it out, really? Well, that was, in that they would end things. He liked the idea of being married to Bones and staying with her. He knew she was probably thinking of the fact that there was one bedroom and one bed. He took a quick look around and saw they had a couple guest rooms. So if she really wanted to end things, he could stay in a guest room till things were worked out.

"Besides, even if we wanted to pull off a stunt like this, Angela would tell us no and remind us all to behave and plus I don't think I'd be making myself an id that says I'm married to you.." not that she didn't want to it was just that. She didn't really know how to make it sound like she wasn't being an asshole.

Slowly she nodded her head, "Chinese is good.. yeah, maybe we should just take a day to be.. normal. Figure out this new world, see if we can find Parker, figure out our jobs, everything nice and rational and logical." which would make her feel a whole lot better.

Booth nodded. "Yeah... that's a good idea. I think there's a Chinese place that delivers too."

He turned to lead her back into their living room. "I uh... found some albums. You know. Of us."

He shifted from one foot to the other, feeling a little nervous. He always knew he'd marry one day. Just never expected it like this.

"I'll get us something to drink if you want to order the food?"

Her eyebrows went up a little bit, "Albums of.. us? Huh.." she wasn't sure if she should look at them but as a matter of fact she thought they were probably pretty ridiculous. Maybe she should take a look.

"Yeahs sure, want your normal?" she asked as she went to go find a phone. While she wandered she mapped out their new place, looking it over and familiarizing herself with it all.

Well at least the place was nice.

"Yeah, albums," he said over his shoulder. "And my normal is good." He reached into the refrigerator to pull out two beers. "Something's gotta be normal around here," he murmured.

He took a deep breath and made his way out of the kitchen, the bottles in hand. He extended one to Bones.

He took a moment to watch her, taking in her features. Wasn't like he had never done so before, but he always managed to keep a line between what was appropriate and what wasn't. A very blurred, fine line, but a line nonetheless. But now...

Now she was his wife. He studied her as if they were married. Well duh, they were, but with the knowledge. His eyes traveled over the curve of her breast beneath the fabric of her shirt, down over the smooth flat of her belly. He'd seen her stomach exposed before so he knew the flesh was smooth. He shook off the thought of wanting to taste that smooth flesh.

With the phone in hand, Bones dialed the number to the chinese place where the menu was stuck on their fridge and ordered. She didn't actually know if either of them had money but she figured that they had enough to get dinner somehow, some way.

She could tell vaguely that he was watching her out of the corner of his eye maybe, but she couldn't really tell why. She hung up the phone a couple of moments later and went back over to him. "About fifteen minutes.." how they got food that fast she'd never know.

"So uh.. albums huh? Might as well let me see them.." truthfully she wondered if her wedding dress had been ugly.

Booth nodded. "Albums. You looked beautiful in your dress. It was very you. Looks like Angela was your maid of honor. Or matron... not sure if she's married to Hodgins or not here," he said.

He led her back into the living room and lifted the ivory colored album. Obviously full of wedding photos. He often wondered who the hell invented the tradition that everything had to be white or ivory?

He stretched it out to Bones before folding his long frame into the sofa.

Did that mean Angela was actually hear? She hadn't seen or heard from Angela on that board thing and her phone number hadn't worked. At least not yet. "Huh.." though she wasn't surprised that Angela was her maid of honor, it made sense.

She followed him back into the living room and took the album from him and then went to sit down with it so she could look through it.

".. Wow.." the wedding dress was really pretty actually, and they looked happy. Really happy. There was even a picture of them kissing and feeding each other cake. "It looks like we missed the party."

He walked over and stood directly behind her. It was normal, he always did. He just liked being close to her. Close enough to touch if he could, but especially close enough to smell her. Her shampoo, her perfume, just HER. It was intoxicating and he could never get enough.

He looked over her shoulder more before speaking. "Looks like. You really did look beautiful, Temperance."

Though she knew he was right behind her, watching over her shoulder (something she found she actually didn't mind since it was Booth - she probably would have minded if it were anyone else) when he spoke she almost jumped a bit.

Maybe it was because was close. And married to her.

"Thanks.." she didn't really know what to say to that. "You didn't look so bad yourself. Too bad we didn't get to actually try the cake. It looks good."

	"I think I would've liked pie instead," he said, grinning a bit. He knew what she thought of pies and always liked to take the chance to tease her about it. 	"Yeah I know you like pie I don't think they make wedding pies though," she teased back. And the fact that she didn't like pie only made it worse and he knew it, so she gave him a Look. He simpled grinned at her when she gave him the Look. He casually swung his arm over her shoulders. "Now why would you say that? You sang Cyndi Lauper in front of all of us."

He tried not to think of what happened after that incident. Up till the shooting, he was having a good time. Watching her animation as she danced to the song and sang for the audience as they cheered her on.

Bones nearly facepalmed, "Don't remind me of Cyndi Lauper, that was awful. How you all didn't smother me to stop singing I shall never know.." really though it was scary enough thinking about that without thinking about the shooting.

"Let's hope no one sang, how about that?" she flipped the page that showed them driving together to a honeymoon. "Wonder where the fake you and me went."

He gave her his boyish grin, his eyes twinkling as he teased her.

"Hell, Bones, of course I did. People would think I'm gay if I didn't notice. You're hot!"

He squeezed her shoulder. "Come on. Can't tell me you never imagined me naked, even before you saw me naked."

He tilted his head, his eyes traveling over her. "You know... you have me at a disadvantage. You've seen me au naturale, but I've not seen you. Shame for a husband not to have seen his wife without clothes on."
