He felt relieved. She was better. Except, how could she be? How could it just turn off like that? He was skeptical about it all, but if she said she was better, than she was better. Now Faith could take that 'sending her to the loony bin' thing back. Because Emily wasn't going there. Even if that was probably the best thing for her from her actions last night.
She kept on looking at him like she had something to say, but the words never came out. Instead of asking her, he let it go. She had a long night, whatever it was, it didn't matter. Unless it was about her, then it did matter. Either way, he wasn't going to press the situation.
"Thanks," he said and took his cup of coffee when she pushed it in front of him.
"So, I figure you'll just stay here a few days. Think it'll be better than you stayin' at Faith's." He tried to meet her eyes, but she didn't look at him and he was getting annoyed by it.
"Unless you wanna go somewhere else, besides Faith's." He wasn't stupid, he remembered what she said. Go and don't come back.
