Dib had been distracted for the past few days. It wasn't a bad sort of distraction - in fact, it was outrageously good in his opinion. A friend of a new found friend introduced him to some of her friends, one of which was Ferb Fletcher, and being two like-minded, rational, brilliant men, they hit it off immediately. In a very, very surprising way, Dib thought. But that distraction kept him from realizing exactly the implications of where he came into that world.
He was in London. LONDON! The place he always wanted to travel because the city was a hotbed for paranormal activity. Dib was over the moon with excitement, but it didn't show on his stoic, perpetually serious face, as he rode his motorcycle along the Thames, nor did it show even when he killed the engine in front of one of the churches that was reported to have more paranormal activity than anybody could really quantify. He smoothed down his trenchcoat and looked up at the imposing, ancient church with one eyebrow quirked. Good thing all his equipment came with him in the vortex.
He wondered where he should begin when he saw a fish and chips vendor out of the corner of his eye. Food is where he should start, so he walked there and ordered a bite to eat. |
