Stefan had had to get away, just for a while, both from Johanna's growing clinginess, and from his brother's ever-present overprotective streak, he hadn't really had anywhere in mind when he'd said he was going for a walk, he'd just taken the first portkey he came to, finding himself in Times Square. This would do nicely.
His nose wrinkled, just slightly, when he realized it was raining. Not heavily, just the thick misting kind that left droplets clinging to everything. He shook his head then, jamming his hands into his pockets and weaving himself almost seamlessly into the crowd. It had been too long, really, since he'd been in a crowd like this however, and he had slipped back into old habits, he moved like a hunter, even if hunting was the farthest thing from his mind at the moment. |
