Petit had been surprised by the call, but not totally shocked, and as she'd informed Soren, he was really just in time, since she, as she said, 'would theoretically and possibly literally just about kill someone for a cheeseburger'.
She was wearing a pair of yoga pants and another one of the shirts from Henn, this one said 'I make people, what's your superpower?' when she answered the door, smiling crookedly, "So I actually know a place that's open this time of night, we can even walk there, s'not too far away." |
