Where: In front of that fountain
When: As she arrives
What: arrivial and running into an old friend who hasn't a clue who she is.
Lynda remembered the promise the Doctor made her, he said that he would get her out of there alive, however as the battle with the Daleks went on she realized that wasn't going to happen.
Standing on the observation deck, listening to the Daleks 'exterminate' everyone they came across. Listening to them taunt the Doctor on floor 500. Everything was falling apart and all Lynda, sweet Lynda with a Y, wanted was to make it out of there alive. Deep down everyone, even the Doctor had to know, barring a miracle, that it wasn't going to happen. They had to know that despite all their fighting they weren't going to make it out of that game station alive and having defeated the Daleks. Of course despite the knowledge that they weren't going to survive didn't seem to matter for they weren't going to give in, clearly unwilling to surrender to a tyrant such as the Daleks.
As the battle raged on, as the taunting grew worse it was left to the Doctor, Jack and Lynda, the odds seemed too heavily in the Dalek's favor and just when that final bit of hope had left Lynda the horrible end came. Rising outside the observation deck window she could see what she had hoped wouldn't find her, three Daleks with the express desire to do nothing more than eliminate her, making it one less to worry about and a step closer to defeating the Doctor. Though Lynda couldn't hear them she knew what was being said, what the strange electronic voice was declaring, "Exterminate" and then with an explosion of light and glass it was over.
Or was it? Lynda had raised her arms in defense, blocking an unblockable death, as she felt the sucking air around her, but she wasn't dying. No, Lynda was being pulled away from that place, that death she so feared and suddenly placed somewhere else. Had it been another transmat beam? Had she been thrown into another nightmare where she had to 'play' for her life? As Lynda opened her eyes and surveyed the area it seemed that it wasn't that at all, it seemed unlike any place she had ever been, and it seemed she was safe. Question of course was, where was she safe? Where was sweet little Lynda with a Y now?
Slowly she circled the odd fountain with the Welsh lettering on it, though it was pretty it was not important at this moment. Or was it? Moving on she rounded the thing completely and walked right into the one thing she hadn't expected to be there at all. A tall, blue, wooden, police box that though out of place no one seemed to notice. Eyes wide and a smile of hope forming she rushed to the doors and knocked loudly and hopefully praying that this wasn't just her mind playing tricks on her and the Doctor that she had met on the gamestation would be inside and tell her not only what happened, but where she was and how she had come to be there.
