Kennedy's brow stayed lifted as Grace tried to explain why they shouldn't open on time. It was almost like she was trying to convince her own self that it wasn't a good time to have a party. Or maybe she was just talking to talk because of that whole nervous thing. Either way, Kennedy just watched her, not even bothering to hide the smirk or that knowing look on her face.
"Not a chance." Kennedy replied, shaking her head. "You should know me well enough to know that by now." She laughed, stealing a kiss. It was true though, Kennedy wasn't really one for backing down. Though with Grace, she did seem to have a harder time. But only on certain things. And this was definitely not one of those things. "We open on schedule." She said with finality. "Maybe a party will be good. Who doesn't love a good party?"
Pulling away from her girlfriend, Kennedy looked around her towards the stove. "Is that almost done, 'cause I'm totally starved."
