Sadako greatly appreciated all of Sweeney's niceties with her. It was something she'd always relished - being treated like a lady and not a monster, not a thing. It wasn't something she was used to, because it wasn't something that anyone but Toyama had shown her.
She couldn't help laughing at his little joke, beaming up at him when he scooped her into his arms. Her own went to wrap around his neck, and she cooed faintly at her heart beating faster, at his as well. The twin pulses were almost deafening, and she was a bit breathless when their lips parted. She could tell he was thinking about what she'd done, and she thought about it as well. She couldn't help but smile to herself, thinking about how they'd grow short of breath, how the visions they were having of a black-haired woman couldn't possibly be memories.
Her skin flushed at his touched, and she arched her neck to bring more of his digits in contact with her skin.
