He held her close as they made their way to the portkey, and in a moment, they were back on his street, and he opened the door for her. He oftentimes felt like her protector, though he knew that Sadako needed no protection. She was a stronger woman than any he'd known before. But all in all, he was the man, and she was the woman, and it was his duty to act as her shield against the world, the horrors beyond death and blood.
He shed his coat, and looked at his arm, noting that the blood had soaked straight through onto his shirt. He tutted and shook his head, "Go through more shirts that way..." He muttered under his breath before sweeping Sadako into his arms and into another kiss. He could feel her heart beating, and could hear his own in his ears, sounding more and more fast and thick with each moment he thought over their little outing, and the plan for the weeks ahead. It was obvious he had little worry about being caught. His fingers slipped through Sadako's dark hair as he kissed her, more turned on once he thought about how many people would die in a week due to her sublime, but powerful work.
"My dear," he said once he righted himself, running his thumb across her jaw, "you do right by your extraordinary abilities. And you do right by me. A man would have to be mad not to adore you."
