Who: Sweeney Todd and Sadako Yamamura What: Reclaiming London Where: London When: Late Night Warnings: Plenty of NPC's deaths, lots of blood, gore, swearing, craziness, and possibly some really squicky sex.
Sweeney had been placid and calm in the recent weeks -- most likely due to his letting his previous self take over. He had been working to overcome that weakling, that naive, sweet doormat of a man that he had once been. He had no use for Benjamen Barker in this world. He had no need to BE Benjamen Barker. It was the fact that so many had forgotten about him, had only written him off as a fairytale, that got to him. It had been getting under his skin and making him itch for recognition -- not as a barber, but as his true self. He was Sweeney Todd. He was not just a barber, he was a butcher, a killer, an act of vengeance, a call to the world to not let themselves be lorded over by those in power. He wanted the world to remember his work, remember his life and his death and his kills, not as an act of brutality, but as an uprising. Furthermore, when they'd forgotten, he knew, he knew he put too much faith in people. He should have known that their small, putrid minds would refuse to grasp the concept that they were not in control.
It was only after this Joker fellow appeared and there was a panic to make sure the world was safe from this demented, deformed man, that Sweeney finally snapped. How dare they forget that there was danger already present! They were driven to protect themselves from that fellow instead of keep their guard up at all times! They had grown so deluded as to think just because he was from a time well past, that he was no threat.
He stood in his doorway, jacket already snug around his shoulders and chest, his fingers caressing the handle of Regina. Though he felt that Avarice was likely the best suited for the job, Pride and Humility called out to him. Regina was hidden in his pocket, practically calling out for her dance to start. He muttered, "Patience, my sweet," as he waited for Sadako to join him.
