"I'm sure you two will make it perfect," she murmured, not wanting to move too far away from his lips. Instead, she knelt down next to him, letting her head rest in his lap. She wanted to be close to him, but she also wanted to let him draw. She'd climb into his lap later.
His little speech made her smile, and she squeezed his hands again in return. "When I spoke with Chappu on the Farplane, he told me that he wanted me to just be happy with someone. I know that's you, and I know Chappu would be glad that someone is there to make me smile. He hated how serious I am." She could still feel her heart thudding away in her chest. "I still sometimes don't think you're real," she murmured, nuzzling her cheek against his thigh. "Mostly because I've been by myself too long."
